Wanderlust (2)

Hello everyone. Sorry it's been so long since I last posted, and sorry it wasn't much but I have half term now so i'm hopefully going to be writing a few blog posts.

When I first started this blog I wrote a post about places in the world that I wanted to go, I said in that post that I have a LOT of places I want to visit and couldn't possibly fit them all into one post. So, this is the next post about it. Hope you guys like it.

If you don't think 'wow' as you scrolled past these then I don't even know what to say. These are the Blue Caves in the Zakynthos Island, Greece, I can just imagine sitting on a beach near this with the small waves slowly creeping up onto the golden sand, feeling the hot sun beaming down and the gentle breeze tickling my skin ever so slightly. I live in England, and for a lot of you that may be amazing and you may love it here, but for me, I find it so boring... we have nothing like this here and this is incredible for me. If you don't want to be here right now...who even are you?!

I present to you The Gardens at Marqueyssac in France. Now although this isn't on the same level as the Blue Caves I think it's still wonderful, I would love to visit these, I mean, if you could see my garden you would be in for a shock... it is literally all dead grass and plants, filled with mud and on a slope... its horrible. So, you can understand that when I look at this is makes me get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, you all know that feeling i'm talking about right? It makes me so satisfied that the bushes (they are bushes right?) are so perfectly rounded and everything is so clean and precise, yes i'm one of those people who need everything to be perfect (apart from my own garden...) If you live near this can you please go there and just take loads of pictures and send them to me...please?

Ahhhhh, this is soooo adorable!!! I cant even begin to explain how much I love this place. This is Interlaken in Switzerland, first of all just look at that lake...go on take a moment to look at it... can you imagine living next to it?! Look at the cute house as well! I absolutely adore houses like this, I think they look so adorable and if I ever stayed in one I would feel as though I should be in a Disney movie or a fairy-tale. This place is so cute and has such a sweet little village I just cant even contain myself. This is my fiary-tale dream.

Woah. Did your eyebrows just raise a little, if they didn't then i'm sorry this doesn't impress you. I never thought this was a real place, I thought it was off some type of film like Lord of the Rings (which i've never seen by the way) but noooo, its Mount Roraina in Venezuela. Please someone buy my plane tickets to here! As soon as I saw this place it reminded me of Up, you know Paradise Falls, it looks just like it, and when I was searching up pictures for this a picture from Up was on Google images, so if this isn't as close as you can get to Paradise Falls then I don't know what is. (If you haven't seen/heard of Up then what are you doing? Go watch it now! Oh and get the tissues, its a sad one).

The finally place for this post is The Phi Phi Islands, now I understand there is many of these islands but I don't know the names of them and even if I did I would love them all, so i'm just going to stick with calling them Phi Phi (I like that word). If I could live here, I would, these islands are marvelous, now I don't like swimming in the sea but I would be in this sea 24/7, you wouldn't be able to get me out of it. I don't even know what to say about these islands, apart from if you have been there then I am forever jealous of you.

A little bit about me

I havent posted anything on this blog for more than 5 months. I cant believe it, i said on my first blog post that dont know if this blog is going to actually work...opps. Recently ive been getting stressed and overwhelmed with school, exams and just everything really. Im in year 11 now so im taking my final exams in May and im really worried about them, although I only have myself to blame because I dont do anything about it or anything to help me be less worried (im not overly good at revising in good time). Anyway, I thought I might just blog about me today, and just little things about me.

1. Im 15 years old and live with my mum.

2. My mum and dad split up when I was 9, im okay with it though as they are both happier now.

3. I always have fallouts with my friends, I dont have one friend that I havent fallen out with at one time or another. Sometimes its over stupid little things and sometimes its over things that I think matter (you might think they are little things, im not sure).

4. I watch a lot of tv shows and films. I think because they distract me from my own life, im not saying my lifes bad or anything because its not, I like my life, obviously theres going to be things which you wish were different but thats for everyone right?

5. I thought I had anxiety a few months ago, well I still do really, ive taken some of those online test things and they have all said pretty much the  same thing. But then I think it may be part of being a teenager and having exams, I mean of course im going to worry about them! So I put myself off thinking about anxiety. Im still not sure though, but I dont think I do.

Reading that last one back makes no sense... I understand what I mean even if none of you do. I hope all of you reading this (if anyone is reading this) are well and happy and are enjoying life. If you're not then try and change things that are making you feel down and upset, try and change those negatives into positives. I know its easier said than done. This is quite a deep post so im sorry if you dont like that, but if you do then comment so i know, feel free to ask me any questions and I will try my best to respond to all of them. Happy new year.

Rachel Green (Friends) Fashion

Hello everybody. Today's blog post is going to be dedicated to the character Rachel Green in the sitcom TV show Friends, if you don't know what that is then where have you been and what have you been doing all of your life? Friends is a TV show which came out in 1994 and ended in 2004, it is literally just about a group of friends and their daily life. (There's a little summary in case you were unsure).

About 2 years ago now i started watching Friends, i immediately fell in love with the fashion on this show. Now, it was out in the 90's so the fashion is like the fashion was back then but i just fell in love with it. As most of the fashion from around the 90's is coming back into fashion now i thought i would share some of the outfits that were on the show that i love and would still wear now. I understand that not all of you will like this type of fashion but hopefully a lot of you will love it as much as i do. All of these outfits are of the same character but that's only because the outfits that this character wears is the outfits that i can see myself wear the most. 

I love this top so much, it's just a simple denim shirt top with 2 pockets, this is so simple but just so lovely. 

(Ignore Ross stood behind here there looking like he is about to sneeze). I love this outfit, it's just a plain white jumper-y type top with a rounded neck tucked into a plaid skirt and knee high white socks with a black band around the top. This skirt pulls the whole outfit together, with the red and green it just makes the whole outfit look amazing. The white knee high socks make it look a bit more casual and the top just looks so comfy to wear whenever. 

(Again, ignore Chandler sat there). I think this outfit looks so good. I love the white top underneath the black waistcoat, i think it looks so much better than just the white top would look on its own. Also i don't know if the red plaid skirt type thing is actually part of the skirt of it's her work uniform apron, but either way i think it looks so nice. Under the red plaid skirt is just a plain black skirt which, of what i can see of it, looks lovely. 

This is my favourite outfit out of this post. I would totally wear this now and it's just so lovely. The white top with a cute printed picture on it saying 'Princess' is just so adorable, the denim overalls look amazing and i already have a pair of denim overalls in my own wardrobe, so if i just got a white top with something printed onto it like this then i would be over the moon. I can't even describe how much i love this outfit but i want it now.

Wanderlust (n) - a strong desire to travel

Hello Ditsy Eyed people, first things first.. you have to help me come up with a new name for you all (suggestions in the comments). 

So I'm sat at home after along day and I'm just thinking about travelling places. I've always wanted to travel around even since I was little and I think I'm used to moving house and moving around quite a bit as I've done more than the normal amount of moving around than an average 15 year old girl would do. I've moved house quite a few times so i guess I'm just used to moving and travelling around, I know moving isn't exactly like travelling the world and I have only lived in one country but you get the point. 

So I'm just sat here now thinking about the future and what places I want to go and visit and maybe even live in. Now I'm not just talking about in England but in lots of different countries, I'm getting to the age where at school we have to think about our future and what we want to do and the only thing I can come up with is travel, I'm not rich and don't have enough money to travel so these all just seem like hopes and dreams right now but I'm hoping to take a year or 2 off of work when I'm older and just travel around to places. 

Recently, I have been making a lot of things I want to do lists and bucket lists on my phone and I've realised that most of these things are to visit places and go to specific places in the world. Some of these I know are very very unlikely to happen but some of them I am hoping with all my heart that they do happen. So I just thought that I would share some of these places with you today, if you are like me and get over excited about visiting new places and seeing beautiful pictures of places that sum up paradise then this should be your place to be right now. 

As I said, I do have a bucket list of places I want to go on my phone but I cant share all of these places as I could write a whole book about how amazing the photographs look and how beautiful the places are as I have 83 places to visit (and counting) so far on the list. So these are just a few places which look beautiful and I'm hoping I visit someday in the future. 

This is a gorgeous place called Santorini in Greece. Ive never been to Greece but just looking at these photos makes me want to go now! I just love the plain white buildings with a splash of colour every now and then, the clear blue sea looks so lovely and I just imagine sitting on the beach with the waves slowly washing up onto the golden sand, and of course the sun beaming down during the day (I know a lot of places are hot but England isn't so this is like a dream). I saw Santorini on a website where I was looking for bucket list ideas and I saw this wonderful place and just fell in love the moment I saw it. If you live here you are so lucky so go outside and just breath and enjoy all that is around you. 

If you aren't in love with this place then I seriously don't know who you are but why and how? This place is so beautiful! Its the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia by the way and yes these are REAL photographs, they aren't photo-shopped or anything.. these places actually exist. I can imagine going here and just feeling relaxed and hearing all of the waterfalls and the wildlife that is there would just make me feel so calm, I cant even explain what I would feel if I ever went here but I think I would most likely stand in the same spot for about 5 hours just looking at one of the trees that is in front of me.. i would probably need about a month just looking around these beautiful lakes just to make sure i didn't miss anything and make sure I took it all in. 

This is the Glacier National Park in Montana. I've seen these pictures so many times (i just keep searching up pretty places and this always comes up) yet I am still amazed ever single time I look at them of how breathtaking this is. If you live anywhere near this but haven't been to see it then what are you doing? Go now! If I was here I wouldn't need any technology (which is a big thing for me) and I would just lay down and enjoy everything around me. This is truly one of the most stunning places I have ever seen. 

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls I give you the Antelope Canyon, USA. I'm unsure of where exactly this is in the USA but its amazing. I remember my dad used to have a picture of this as his background on his computer and I never actually believed it was a real place, now I know it is. This isn't my normal type of place that I would like to go to but this just looks so peaceful and beautiful that I couldn't resist putting it on my places to go bucket list. If any of you have gone to this then I envy you so much because this place is beautiful. (I realise I'm using the same words a lot here such as beautiful, stunning, calming etc. but I'm not sure how else to say what I'm thinking... yay to my wide range of vocabulary).

Wow. This is the magnificent Carrera Lake, Santa Cruz in Argentina. As soon as I saw these pictures I mind-gasped (gasped but in my mind so my family wouldn't think I was weird for gasping at a laptop) but seriously, this place just makes me want to go and swim in it right now. These waters excite me a lot and I know that sounds really strange but unless you have been to a beach in England then shh because beaches here are dreadful. Also I know this isn't a picture of a beach but its a picture of the sea or lake or whatever so that still counts. I'm not one for swimming in the sea or in lakes but this just makes me want to dive right into it now. 

Well, that's it for today. But who knows I will most likely do another blog post which is the second part to this... I still have 78 places to show you. Introduction

Hello my Ditsy Eyed people (unsure of what to call you all yet). 

This is my new blog, I'm not sure if this is going to keep going or if I'm going to do this once and then completely forget about it and remember it in 3 years time, but hay ho lets give it a try. 

This blog is going to be a mix of different things, mostly because i don't know what I'm best at writing about or what i love writing about yet, hopefully through this blog i can find that out. I'm going to write about many things but so far i can think of writing about clothes and fashion and who's fashion I'm loving recently, beauty products and who i look up to who is a beauty guru (for those of you who don't know a beauty guru is someone who knows a lot about beauty and is very good and giving advice and tips on what looks good and how to do makeup properly), as well as this i will hopefully also be writing about lifestyle and little bits about my life and maybe giving advice on problems that may be happening in your life or you may have experienced or might experience in the future sometime. I will also answer any questions you may have and anything that you want to ask me i will hopefully get to answer (within reason of course).

Now, I'm not sure if this is actually going to happen and if i will write about these things but I'm sure going to try. Of course there will also be some random posts thrown in there such as things I'm loving recently or even a monthly favourites post...these are mostly meant for youtube and doing videos about them instead of just writing them down but I'm not going to make a youtube channel and start posting videos on there instead of writing on here (at least yet I'm not). 

This is just an introduction and a little taster of what my blog will be about and what I'm hoping it will be about but I of course cant see the future and i don't know what I'm going to be doing with this blog in a couple of years or even in a couple of months. I know this is short but my other posts will be longer and more interesting than this one has been. Anyway, enough of me just rambling, i hope you will enjoy this blog as much as i will do writing it. Oh and leave me suggestions of what you want me to write about and ask me questions in the comments please. Also what do you think of the name? I don't know if I like it or not yet... thoughts?
